3 notes to digest before the Dallas Cowboys host Giants
The 1-3 Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium. Who wants it more? Jason Garrett returns to Big D after losing his job last season.
This isn’t the start most were expecting. With a quarter of the regular season down the drain, the Dallas Cowboys attempt to pivot away from a historically disastrous start to the 2020 NFL year.
Disastrous. Embarrassing. Unexpected. You pick the words.
Sure, quarterback Dak Prescott is leveling off into a banner year for himself. But if you celebrate his success, keep in mind the 1-3 record. All of the positive numbers means nil if you can’t overcome the negative numbers.
The defense has been an absolute embarrassment. Things aren’t looking better either with injuries. The Dallas Cowboys are spinning around in a daze, with the needle trending in the wrong direction.
Can Big D turn things around against an 0-4, New York Giants squad? I hope so. But honestly, I don’t know. Because if I learned anything so far about this 2020 Cowboys team it’s this: they have proven to everyone we don’t know squat about their DNA.
Here are three notes to digest before the Cowboys welcome in the Giants and former head coach, Jason Garrett. As always, stick around to the end for a prediction!
