Texas woman arrested after refusing to wear mask, faces two charges

Houston, Texas – A woman was arrested by the police after refusing to wear a mask, police confirm.

The woman, Terry Wright, is well known to the public after she was seen in a viral video when she also refused to wear a mask in Bank of America office.

This second case took place in Office Depot in Texas City, Houston. According to the reports, Wright was asked to put her mask or the leave the premises. The police responded to a 911 call around 9 a.m. on March 17th after the woman entered the Office Depot office without a mask.

Officers say Wright refused to give them a date of birth, but one officer recognized her from video of the Galveston incident at Bank of America.

Texas City police officers found that Wright had two warrants out for her arrest for the Bank of America incident. She was arrested and transported to Galveston County Jail.

Wright is being held on charges of Criminal Trespass and Resist Arrest Search or Transport. No additional charges were filed due to the Office Depot incident in Texas City.
