First time since July, no Covid-19 related deaths were reported in Tarrant County on Tuesday

Tarrant County, TX – On Tuesday, Tarrant County reported 0 Covid-19 related deaths and this is happening for the first time since July, local health officials confirmed.

According to Tarrant County Public Health Director Vinny Taneja, the number of new Covid-19 cases and hospitalizations is slowly decreasing in the area which is great as we approach the holiday season.

“Today is one of those days that we have zero deaths to report,” he said. “So finally we are getting there. So that’s great news for us.”

In an effort to avoid the last year’s scenario with the hardest Covid-19 wave, health officials are urging those unvaccinated to get the shot as soon as possible.

The biggest concern right now is the increasing number of gatherings in the upcoming period for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

Between Saturday and Monday, Dallas County reported five COVID deaths.
