Pasadena resident claims one million dollar top prize in Texas Lottery Premier Play scratch ticket game

Pasadena, Texas – A Pasadena resident is celebrating a life-changing lottery win after claiming a $1 million top prize from the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Premier Play.

Lottery officials announced that the winning ticket was purchased at Motu Food Mart, located at 4900 Space Center Blvd. in Pasadena. The winner chose to remain anonymous, as permitted under Texas Lottery rules.

The million-dollar prize represents one of the game’s highest available awards and marks another major win for a Texas player.

In addition to the winner receiving the top prize, the retailer that sold the lucky ticket may also benefit.

Under the Texas Lottery Retailer Bonus Program, Motu Food Mart may qualify for a $10,000 retailer bonus for selling the winning scratch ticket.

Lottery officials said this is the fifth of 10 top prizes worth $1 million that have now been claimed in the Premier Play game. That means five top prizes remain available for players purchasing eligible tickets.

Premier Play continues to offer substantial prize opportunities, with more than $137.5 million in total prizes available throughout the game.

According to the Texas Lottery, the overall odds of winning any prize are one in 3.55, a figure that includes break-even prizes.

The latest win adds another millionaire to the list of Texas Lottery prize winners while highlighting that several top prizes are still waiting to be claimed by future players across the state.
