Typically, adopting a cat or a dog can be quite an investment, with fees usually standing at $90 for cats and $100 for dogs. These fees cover critical needs, including pet vaccinations, spaying or neutering, microchipping, a city license for Arlington residents, and necessary health tests like heartworm testing for dogs and FIV/FELV testing for cats.
