Arlington gears up for March 22 event that will honor Medal of Honor recipients with a vibrant celebration of bravery, including a spectacular 360-degree fireworks and drone show

Arlington, Texas – The anticipation is building in Arlington as the National Medal of Honor Museum gears up to open its doors with an electrifying celebration fit for the heroes it honors. Scheduled for March 22, this unforgettable evening, dubbed the Mission to Inspire Spectacular, is set to dazzle attendees with a dynamic blend of fireworks, drones, and multimedia performances, all unfolding under the Texas sky.
As part of the grand opening festivities for the museum, which officially opens on National Medal of Honor Day, March 25, the community is invited to join a free outdoor event that promises fun and inspiration for all ages. The event will take place on East Road to Six Flags, right next to the museum on the north side of Choctaw Stadium in Arlington’s vibrant Entertainment District. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the main spectacle, the Mission to Inspire Spectacular, set to captivate the audience from 9 p.m.
Attendees can expect an evening packed with entertainment, including live music performances and speeches by Medal of Honor recipients who will share their compelling stories of valor. The event will also feature special military displays and interactive exhibits designed to engage visitors of all ages. Children and families will enjoy the Kids Zone, and attendees can look forward to photo opportunities with icons like the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, and local sports heroes from the Texas Rangers and Arlington Renegades.
The highlight of the night will be the Mission to Inspire Spectacular, a 360-degree storytelling experience. This sky show will combine fireworks, choreographed drone formations, vivid video projections, and stirring musical arrangements to create a truly mesmerizing experience.

Guests are advised to bring blankets and lawn chairs to settle in comfortably for the show. However, the museum has issued a list of prohibited items to ensure a safe environment for all. These include firearms, outside food and beverages, knives, laser pointers, glass containers, metal cans, hard coolers, clothing with profane language, banners with disruptive or promotional content, selfie sticks, personal drones, and bags larger than 16”x16”x8”.
