Fort Worth police need public’s help to identify a person of interest in a homicide investigation

Fort Worth, Texas – The Fort Worth police department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who may have relevant information related to a homicide that occurred in the Western Hills neighborhood.

According to the authorities, the man in the photograph is being sought by the homicide detectives, who wish to talk to him about a fatal shooting that took place on February 21 near 2800 Las Vegas Trail. Following the report of shots fired, officers were dispatched to El Rancho Escondido Apartments, where they discovered 34-year-old Le’Jarvis Javon Lake with multiple gunshot wounds in the breezeway of the complex. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but sadly succumbed to his injuries within an hour.

Jeremiah Berry, a 22-year-old man, was arrested on February 24 and charged with murder in connection with Lake’s death. Authorities are seeking the assistance of the public to identify the individual in the photograph, who may have useful information regarding the homicide investigation.

In such cases, public participation is critical, and it is imperative that anyone with any relevant information come forward to assist the police with their investigations.
