Woman sustained a gunshot wound following an argument with her boyfriend

Fort Worth, Texas – Authorities said that a woman was in critical condition early Wednesday morning after being shot following an altercation that took place on La Salle Street in east Fort Worth.

During the incident, there were no reports of anybody else being injured.

The woman’s boyfriend was determined to be the main suspect in the shooting, and he was arrested by officers while trying to leave the scene.

Responding officers arrived at the home located in the 2600 block of La Salle St. and found the woman suffering from a gunshot to the back. The victim informed authorities she had been arguing with her boyfriend, who pulled a gun and opened fire.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Her boyfriend, identified as 35-year-old Dadrian Thomas, is now facing charges in connection with the incident.
