Man arrested for fatally stabbing his father-in-law in Bedford

Bedford, Texas – A man from North Richland Hills has been taken into custody and charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of his father-in-law.

The 28-year-old Anthony Chaffin was arrested by the Bedford police for fatally stabbing his father-in-law, the 41-year-old Jason Enos, on October 11.

Both Enos and Chaffin were having a quarrel over a family matter outside of a friend’s home in Bedford when, at some point, the seemingly harmless argument turned into a physical altercation.

Responding officers from the Bedford police found Enos suffering from multiple stab wounds upon arrival. He was immediately transported to a hospital where he eventually passed away.

Chaffin is currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
