Jury indicted two men in connection with fatal shooting at a Halloween party

Waco, Texas – After enough evidence was gathered to proceed with the criminal case where a man had been fatally shot in November, 2019, indictments for murder have been handed down against two individuals by the McLennan County Grand Jury.

The two individuals are indicted for fatally shooting the 22-year-old D’airse Holder at a Halloween party at The Grove Apartments at 2826 South University Parks Drive, near the Baylor University campus.

Multiple sources say that the shooting also injured one more man, who was treated at a hospital and sent home soon after.

The investigation determined Krisean Jamon Gibson as the second person responsible for the incident, and members of the Desoto Police Department took him into custody on February 17, 2020, on a murder warrant that had been issued by the Waco Police Department.

The first suspect, Jamarine Long, was arrested prior to the arrest of Gibson on January 4, 2020.

Reportedly, Long shot Holder after an altercation escalated.
