Fort Worth fatal shooting claimed the life of a juvenile Saturday

Fort Worth, Texas – In the early morning hours of Saturday in Fort Worth, a shooting resulted in the death of a 13-year-old boy.
Officers were sent in a response to the incident that occurred at around 11:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Stoneybrook Drive.
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered a juvenile victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. The boy was taken to a hospital for treatment, but he died there from his injuries.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office found out that the person who died was Zahnii Davis, 13 years old.
A person of interest was taken to a police station for questioning and authorities interviewed possible witnesses. Information on whether arrests have been made was not released.
