Friday late night single-vehicle crash on I-20 in Arlington fatal for one woman, police
Arlington, Texas – Young woman was pronounced dead at the scene following a single-vehicle crash that happened on I-20 in Arlington late on Friday, the local police confirmed.
According to the authorities, the wreck took place in the 2400 block of I-20, at the eastbound exit ramp to southbound SH 360 around 11:35 p.m.
When first responders arrived at the scene, a 2019 Land Rover that had gone off the road, was burning on the grassy shoulder.
The initial investigation hasn’t shown what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway before striking a concrete support pillar.
An 18-year-old woman, whose identity was not immediately released to the public, was the only person in the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries she sustained in the wreck.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further details were immediately available.
