Authorities looking for a woman who escaped from custody at DFW Airport

Dallas, Texas – A 24-year-old woman facing drug charges managed to get away from authorities while being led through DFW Airport on Friday morning.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, Jerrecca Louise Stevenson was being transferred from Missouri to the Dallas County Jail at the time of the incident.

A deputy was accompanying her, and she was still wearing her restraints when she managed to run away.

Stevenson was last seen strolling near a motel in Euless while wearing a red sweatshirt, a black tank top, and gray sweatpants.

She is wanted on two arrest warrants: one for possession of a controlled drug and the other for failure to post bail on a possession of a controlled substance charge. Because of her escape, she will now be charged with an additional crime.
