Saturday afternoon shooting incident in Watauga fatal for two teenagers found dead in a vehicle, police

Watauga, TX – Two teenagers were found dead in a vehicle in Watauga Saturday afternoon following a deadly shooting, the police say.

According to the incident report, officers were dispatched at the scene in a neighborhood near Western Center and Park Vista boulevards around 2 p.m. when someone called 911 and reported shots being fired.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located the victims in a parked vehicle. According to the neighbors, the teenagers believed to be 17-year-olds, suffered several gunshot injuries each as their vehicle was riddled with bullets.

As of Monday morning, the local police department didn’t release the identities of the victims and didn’t provide additional information about the shooting incident.
