Plano ranks 22nd city on the happiest places in the country list, Wallet Hub study shows
North Texas – Wallet Hub released the results of their study about the happiest places in the country list and Plano ranks best among all the other North Texas cities.
According to the results of the study conducted by WalletHub.com, Plano reached the 22nd position on the list nationwide.
WalletHub’s study examined positive-psychology research to determine the rankings of the 182 largest cities in the United States, and at least two of the most populated cities in each state.
Community and environment, income and employment and emotional and physical well-being were the top three criteria taken into consideration in the study.
Plano was the only North Texas city among the top 50 cities on the list. These are the positions of the other North Texas cities:
- 83rd – Grand Prairie
- 89th – Irving
- 97th – Garland
- 103rd – Fort Worth
- 107th – Arlington
- 111th – Dallas
In the study, Wallet Hub noted that the pandemic had huge impact on the life quality around the country.
