Three officers with the Dallas Police Department fired earlier this week
Dallas, Texas – Three officers with the Dallas Police Department were fired earlier this week, the department confirmed.
According to multiple reports, Sr. Cpl. William McLennan and Officers Donnel Brown and Juan Lopez lost their jobs Tuesday.
Sr. Cpl. William McLennan was fired because he was caught driving under influence last year in Lewisville.
Brown was accused of theft in Plano. At this point, it remains unclear if the now former officer faces criminal charges for the case.
Lopez was accused of escalating a disturbance.
The fired officers can appeal their terminations.
