Two people arrested following a 30-minute police chase in Fort Worth
Fort Worth, Texas – Two individuals were arrested Sunday night after a stolen vehicle pursuit through Fort Worth.
Officers from the South Division spotted the stolen vehicle going on East Berry Street close to Mitchell Boulevard about 11:55 p.m. and tried to stop it, but the driver took off, forcing the officers to pursue the vehicle.
The chase ended when the driver stopped after entering Benbrook, exited the vehicle, and tried to flee on foot, but officers were able to arrest him without further incident. A woman who remained inside the vehicle was arrested on outstanding warrants.
Authorities said the chase lasted about 30 minutes and involved patrol officers, an air support unit, and the K9 unit of the police department.
