Three people are dead as a result of the murder-suicide incident on Thursday at the Lakeside Villas Apartment Community in Midlothian
Midlothian, Texas – Murder-suicide incident on Thursday in Midlothian resulted with three people dead, the local police confirmed.
According to the incident report, the fatal incident took place at the Lakeside Villas Apartment Community in the northwestern part of the city near Highway 287 on Thursday night around 10:30 p.m.
Reportedly, an adult man shot and killed two people and then shot himself.
The authorities were dispatched at the scene following multiple 911 disturbance calls from the locals who live in the area.
When the responding officer arrived at the scene, he found three victims in an apartment who were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as the 43-year-old Edsel Collazo, 49-year-old Janet Lee and 23-year-old Andrew Armonta.
The police have a reason to believe that the 43-year-old Collazo killed Lee and Armonta and then killed himself. The neighbors from the apartment complex confirmed that the shooter recently moved to Midlothian from Red Oak.
Authorities believe no other people were involved in the shooting incident. The investigation is ongoing.
