An 80-year-old North Texas woman shot to death 52-year-old Kaufman County woman, arrested and charged

Texas – An 80-year-old woman might spend the rest of her life behind bars after she was arrested for shooting to death 52-year-old Kaufman County woman on Tuesday, police say.

According to police report, deputies were dispatched to a home in the 12000 block of FM 1836 on Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. in regards to a shooting call.

At the home, authorities found a 52-year-old woman dead who was shot in her shoulder.

Authorities then arrested an 80-year-old woman for her death and took her to the Kaufman County Law Enforcement Center

No names have been released.

The investigation remains ongoing.
