Fort Worth Public Libraries offer a series of free retirement planning workshops led by certified financial planner Carson J. Graves, helping seniors make informed decisions about their financial future

Fort Worth, Texas – Navigating the path to retirement can be overwhelming, but a series of free workshops at the local library aims to make the process smoother. Adults aged 55 and older will have the opportunity to gain valuable financial insights from an expert in the field, ensuring they make informed decisions about their future.
Leading these sessions is Carson J. Graves, a certified financial planner and the president/CEO of the Retirement Education Center. With years of experience helping individuals prepare for retirement, Graves will break down essential topics such as maximizing Social Security benefits and minimizing taxes on retirement income. His guidance is designed to clear up common misconceptions and help attendees build a solid financial plan for their golden years.
Each workshop will run for 90 minutes and offer a welcoming space for participants to ask questions and receive practical advice tailored to their concerns. The program is structured to cover key retirement planning principles, but it will also provide actionable steps that attendees can take immediately to improve their financial outlook.

The final opportunity to attend will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at the Vivian J. Lincoln Library.
