Fire broke out at a Fort Worth home, leaving a woman and her son with injuries
Fort Worth, Texas – A fire that broke out at a Fort Worth home on Friday afternoon left a woman and her 3-year-old son being treated for injuries.
Officials with the Fort Worth Fire Department said that the blaze began in the single-story home’s back just after 2:15 p.m.
The child suffered burns of the second degree, which are significant but do not pose a danger to his life. The mother was treated for some minor burns at the hospital.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
