High school student arrested after staff found gun, drugs in his backpack
Arlington, Texas – On Friday morning, officers with the Arlington Police Department made an arrest of a student at an Arlington high school.
Dominic Redic, 18, was taken into custody at Sam Houston High School after staff members reportedly informed school resource officers about what they had discovered during an administrative check, according to the police.
Unlawfully carrying a weapon in prohibited places, possessing less than two ounces of marijuana, and tampering with the identification numbers on a handgun are among the charges brought against Redic.
After further investigation, the police found out that Redic was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant out of both Arlington and Grand Prairie. He was released from the Arlington County jail after posting bail of $3,796.
