Former Dallas Mavericks star to open a restaurant at DFW airport
The Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport will soon be home to a new restaurant under the ownership of The Big German.
According to information provided by DFW Airport, the board of directors of the airport on Thursday gave its approval to a restaurant named “Nowitzki,” which would include a Dirk-themed concept.
According to D&B Mitchell Group LLC, the menu will include cuisine from his own country in addition to some of his favorite dishes.
An emblem of Nowitzki doing his iconic one-legged fadeaway will be put on the uniforms of all employees.
The restaurant, called “Nowitzki,” is scheduled to open in the summer of 2023 and will be located at Terminal C.
The sports icon of Dallas was a member of the Mavericks for his entire 21-year career in the NBA.
