Authorities identified the victim in fatal Fort Worth crash
Fort Worth, Texas – Authorities have revealed the identity of the person who died in a collision in Fort Worth on Monday.
The accident took place on I-35W near Northeast 28th Street, according to officials.
The driver sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported for treatment at JPS Hospital, where he eventually died. He was identified as 19-year-old Dan Shaka from Las Vegas.
According to witnesses’ testimonies, the vehicle was traveling at an excessive rate of speed and swerving in and out of traffic. As a result, Shaka lost control over his vehicle, veered off the highway, and hit several concrete posts before coming to a stop.
