Study shows Dallas-Fort Worth area is most expensive region in Texas
Fort Worth, Texas – A study shows that the area around Fort Worth and Dallas is the most expensive part of the state of Texas.
The study analyzed the data from the federal Cost of Living Index, which is compiled and published by the Council for Community and Economic Research.
The metropolitan area of Dallas-Fort Worth was regarded as the least affordable region in the state due to various factors, including the following:
- Housing
- Groceries
- Utilities
- Transportation
- Health Care
- Miscellaneous
The official Cost of Living Index score for DFW was determined to be 99.35 based upon these factors.
