Second person arrested in regards to the 5-year-old’s death at a South Dallas home Tuesday, report

Dallas, Texas – Dallas Police Department officials yesterday confirmed that a 26-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday morning after first responders arrived at a South Dallas home and found 5-year-old boy death.

As we reported yesterday following the initial information given by the local authorities, the woman was arrested after the paramedics pronounced the boy dead at the scene with clear signs of trauma all over the boy’s body.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released for the public. The 26-year-old Tiffany Williams was arrested and charged with causing serious bodily injury to the child. Her relationship with the child was not immediately released by police.

Later in the day, the Dallas PD informed the public that yet another person was arrested believed to be involved in the boy’s death. According to the police, the 74-year-old Ulysses Kizzee was arrested and charged with injury to a child with serious bodily injury as well.

Per the incident report, police responded around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at a home at South Dallas on the 2800 block of Silkwood Street.

“The preliminary investigation shows that the child has signs of trauma,” police said. “The Dallas Police Department’s Child Abuse Unit will be leading the investigation.”

The investigation about the incident is ongoing. No further details were given, but updates are expected in the upcoming days.
