26-year-old woman from Dallas is arrested and charged with manslaughter, involved in her son’s fatal shooting
Dallas, TX – The 26-year-old Lacravionne Washington of Dallas was again arrested on Wednesday and charged with manslaughter regarding the incident that took place on March 28 when her 3-year-old son was shot and killed.
The arrest and the charges against Washington were confirmed by the local authorities early Wednesday.
According to the incident report, the 3-year-old boy Jalexus Washington Jr. was shot and killed in a road range incident by another driver late last month, or at least that’s what the mother claimed after the incident. She was arrested after the shooting and released on a bail, but she was once again arrested after the autopsy report revealed the boy was shot at close range.
The police, however, didn’t say who they think was the shooter.
Washington is also charged with child endangerment and tampering with evidence. The child endangerment charges are for a gun being accessible to a child and a child being unrestrained in a vehicle.
The boy’s father is charged with tampering with evidence.
