Woman in Uptown Dallas apartment complex stabbed several times, Dallas PD seeking help in identifying and locating the suspect

Dallas, Texas – A 31-year-old woman was stabbed several times and is now in critical condition following the early Wednesday morning incident in an uptown Dallas apartment building, Dallas PD confirmed.

The police released a surveillance photo of the suspect who attacked the victim and are seeking public’s help in identifying and locating him.

As per the police report, the attack took place in the early morning hours on Wednesday in the parking garage attached to an apartment complex near Blackburn Street and the Central Expressway.

The police report indicates that the woman suffered several stab wounds and was transferred to hospital for treatment where she is still in critical condition.

According to residents, the parking garage, the elevator and the hallways were all in blood.

The police were not able to speak much with the victim due to her condition, but they believe this is not a random attack since the obtained video of the parking surveillance cameras shows a man entering the garage just after midnight who later had an argument with the victim as they both entered a stairwell, part of the garage which is not under surveillance.

Sometime later, the same man was seen leaving the garage alone. Neighbors say the suspect doesn’t appear to live in the apartment complex.

According to the incident report, the victim was seen on surveillance cameras struggling to walk after the attack, before eventually making her way to the parking garage. The victim was found few hours later, around 7 a.m., in the backseat of her car.

The identity of the woman was not released by the authorities. She reportedly suffered serious injuries to hear head and face.

The man caught on the surveillance cameras is the main suspect in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Dallas Police Department.
