A 25-year-old DeSoto woman reported missing, multiple police departments working together to locate her
DeSoto, Texas – DeSoto, Dallas, and Grand Prairie police departments are working together to locate the 25-year-old DeSoto woman who was reported missing on Sunday.
According to the police, the 25-year-old Yi Chan woman was last seen by her family between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. on Sunday at their home on the 500 block of Olympia.
Her family fear for her safety because she reportedly left her home in a depressed state.
Dallas police found Chan’s blue Nissan Sedan with the keys inside of it on Mountain Creek Parkway early Sunday morning. They notified DeSoto police shortly after 8:30 a.m.
The police immediately informed the family after the vehicle was found on Mountain Creek Parkway.
Taking into consideration the fact that Chan is reportedly depressed and that her vehicle was found abandoned next to a body of water, a large-scale land and air, the three departments are working together in an effort to locate the missing woman as soon as possible.
Authorities confirmed they are using drones, K-9 units and boats in the search of the missing person.
Once more details are available, we will update the case.
