Small plane crashed in Somervell County on Saturday after striking a power line, two people injured
Somervell County, Texas – Two people are injured in the Saturday’s afternoon small plane crash in Somervell County, authorities confirmed.
According to the incident report, for still unknown reasons, a single-engine bi-plane struck a power line and crashed into the Brazos River.
The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that two people were in the plane at the time of the incident. A 60-year-old male pilot and a 73-year-old woman, both from Granbury, were immediately transferred to a Fort Worth hospital for treatment after the crash.
No details were given by the investigators about the extent of their injuries and their current condition.
It remains unknown what led to the crash.
