More than 300 pets were adopted in the first day of Humane Society’s MEGA Pet Adoption event in Fort Worth on Saturday

Fort Worth, TX – Humane Society’s MEGA Pet Adoption event stated Saturday morning and will last over the weekend until Sunday afternoon.

According to the organizers, the first of the event was more than successful, but they look forward to achieve even better results by Sunday afternoon.

Organizers announced on Saturday that more than 300 pets found new families on the very first day since the opening.

The event continues on Sunday too and is set to start at 10 a.m. For those interested to adopt a pet, they should head at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, Cattle Barn 1.

Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and more were adopted Saturday, and many more will be available today as well.

An HSNT spokesperson said they are hoping to hit 1,000 new adoptions by the end of the weekend.
