Dallas police arrested the suspect believed to be responsible for the death of the 14-year-old girl found on the side of a road
Dallas, Texas – As we already reported yesterday, Dallas police found the dead body of the 14-year-old Neveah Foster following a 911 call of a passerby who located the body on the side of a road.
The teenage girl, who apparently suffered mental health issues and ran away from home the day before, was found dead on Wednesday at Merrifield Road in West Oak Cliff in the early morning hours around 3:30 a.m.
When the local authorities initially informed the public about the case, they didn’t have suspects, but they now confirmed that a man believed to be responsible for the teenager’s death was arrested.
According to the Dallas police, the 22-year-old Tyrone Davis was arrested and charged with the murder of Neveah Foster.
Davis is accused of shooting multiple times and killing Foster then leaving the body on the side of the road.
She lived with her mother at an apartment complex less than a mile away.
Her mother also told police there was an incident earlier this week when a man at her apartment complex allegedly threatened her daughter’s life.
The police didn’t reveal more details what led to Davis’ arrest and how they connected the suspect to the victim.
