Dallas teenager has been arrested and charged after admitting to killing his mother, police

Dallas, Texas – Dallas teenager was arrested and charged after he admitted to shooting and killing his mother, police say.

The identity of the teenager was not immediately released by the authorities, they only confirmed that the suspect is 15-year-old boy.

Dallas police said their investigation started with an abandoned child call just after 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

The Dallas Police Department officials confirmed that a 2-year-old was dropped off at her great-grandparent’s home by someone, while the child was supposed to be with her grandmother.

That was enough for the authorities to go and check her house.

When officers arrived at the house, they found the 7-year-old Aime Salinas-Alvarado dead with apparent gunshot wound to the head.

The initial investigation showed that the main suspect in the case was Alvardo’s 15-year-old son who had shot and killed his mother then took the 2-year-old to her great-grandparent’s house.

The teenager was located shortly after and he was arrested without incident. The 15-year-old admitted everything to the authorities when questioned.

He was taken to a detention facility, where he will be charged with capital murder.

The police didn’t reveal the motive behind the shooting and no more details about the case were revealed.
