One of the largest vaccine and testing sites in Dallas closed on Wednesday

Dallas, TX – One of the largest vaccine and testing site at the city of Dallas was closed on Wednesday, officials confirmed.

According to multiple reports, the Ellis Davis Field House in southern Dallas is owned by Dallas ISD, but was taken over by Parkland Hospital.

The site that was one of the first to be opened and one of the largest in the area stopped with all their operations on Wednesday.

According to the available data, nearly 100,000 people were tested for Covid-19 in the last couple of months at this site.

Additionally, once the vaccines were rolled out this became one of the largest vaccine sites in the city of Dallas and more than 80,000 shots were administrated in the last couple of months.

Parkland will still offer vaccines at its community health centers in Dallas County.
