Authorities arrested and charged the four teenagers who shot to death one person in Dallas Costco parking lot, police
Dallas, TX – Police arrested and charged four teenagers believed to be responsible for the fatal shooting of a man Tuesday night outside Costco in Dallas.
According to the police, the teenager accused of the fatal shooting are a juvenile, a 17-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man.
The victim was identified as the 60-year-old Ali Elbanna who was shot to death while he was loading his vehicle on the parking lot outside Costco in Dallas.
All four of them were charged with capital murder, but the arrest affidavits say the juvenile is the one who fatally shot the victim during an attempted robbery while he was loading his suburban.
As soon as they were arrested, two of the suspects also admitted to committing several other crimes.
According to the incident report, Elbanna was loading his vehicle when the teenagers approached him in their pickup truck and tried to rob him. That’s the moment when the juvenile fired one shot killing the victim.
The victim left multiple children behind.
Dallas police initially asked the media on Wednesday to not show the suspects mugshots because that “may hinder an ongoing investigation” for other crimes. But then, Thursday morning, they were released by police.
The suspects have been identified as the 17-year-old James Level, 17-year-old Janiya Lashav Miller and 19-year-old Jacoby Bryce Tatum. The identity of the juvenile was not released.
Bond for the two 17-year-olds and the 19-year-old were set at $500,000 each.
