The plane that crashed Tuesday morning in Houston had not flown in almost a year, investigation shows

Texas – The investigation about the plane crash in Houston shows that the plane had not flown in almost a year since last December.

Luckily, all of the passengers survived the crash and only two of them suffered minor injuries.

As multiple sources already reported, the private jet crashed through an airport fence and burst into flames in Waller County, Texas.

It’s a shock after flames from the decimated aircraft sent large, dark plumes of smoke into the air that could be seen for miles.

The National Transportation Safety Board was gathering evidence for the crash and they interviewed both the crew members and the passengers as a part of the investigation.

On Thursday, they added they are also looking into maintenance work done on the plane in the last couple of months.

The tire marks on the runway clearly show that the pilots were braking hard in an effort to abort the takeoff when the accident happened Tuesday morning.

The jet was owned by a Houston-area investment firm.
