Female passenger hit and injured Southwest employee while boarding a flight to New York

Dallas, TX – The woman who attacked the Southwest employee on Saturday is arrested, while the flight attended was injured and hospitalized in the incident that took place in a Southwest airplane while boarding.

According to the police report, the incident took place while boarding a flight to New York at Dallas Love Field Saturday afternoon.

Dallas Police Department and Southwest confirmed that the incident took place around 12:50 p.m. in the airplane that was just about to take off to La Guardia.

While boarding the plane, the female passenger was yelling at a flight attendant for no apparent reason.

Police said the flight attendant told her to get off the plane, then the passenger yelled at another flight attendant, before hitting the second flight attendant in the head.

Right after the incident, the woman was arrested. Her identity was not released by the police.

The flight attendant was transferred to hospital for treatment and additional examination. He suffered minor injuries.
