Shooting incident at a Fort Worth gas station on Friday, teenager shot and injured, police

Fort Worth, Texas – Friday gas station shooting in Fort Worth resulted with 16-year-old shot and injured, the authorities confirmed.

According to the incident report, the shooting took place midday Friday just after 12 p.m. at a gas station on Altamesa Boulevard, a block away from Southwest High School.

There is ongoing investigation which should reveal what led to the shooting and if the teenager was the intended target.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they found out that the girl was shot in the leg and the injuries were non-life-threatening. She was transferred to hospital for treatment.

The shooting suspect is still at large and no arrests have been made immediately.

No additional information was released by the police.
