Despite being fully vaccinated, Fort Worth Mayor and her husband tested positive on Covid-19, she announced on Twitter
Fort Worth, TX – It looks like the booster dose of the vaccine will be a step further for everyone to keep themselves safe from the virus.
As she announced on Twitter, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker and her husband both tested positive on Covid-19.
Their condition is stable and they both experience mild symptoms.
Parker added that both she and her husband are fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine back in April.
As per the current Covid-19 protocols, they will both isolate at their home and will continue working remotely.
“We are both in good spirits and appreciate everyone’s prayers for a quick recovery,” she said in her statement.
“Today, I tested positive for COVID-19. My husband David has also tested positive.
I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19, having received the Pfizer vaccine in April. I am thankfully only experiencing mild symptoms from this breakthrough case. (1/3) pic.twitter.com/SLog0w5iMN
