Shooting on the parking lot outside Six Flags, one juvenile arrested, report
Arlington, Texas – Friday night shooting outside Six Flags on the parking lot results with one juvenile arrested, Arlington police confirm.
After receiving the shooting call around 8.30 p.m., the police immediately responded to the scene.
According to the reports, the shooting occurred following a fight on the front entrance of the park between several teenagers. The fight ended up when one juvenile shot another one in the arm.
The victim left the scene but later showed up at a Dallas hospital. Injury not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
Police arrested the suspected shooter, a juvenile whose name has not been released, and he faces a charge of aggravated assault.
A 19-year-old was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, according to police.
Police said there were some reports of injuries to visitors from people fleeing on foot, jumping fences and possible falling.
